4H Pigs

We have set aside 4 of our newest Piglets for next years 4H Projects.

Pigs and Hogs

Pigs and Hogs are the same only classed differently by their weight. They are called pigs when they are small and when they reach 120 pounds or more they are classified as hogs. A Boar is a male and a Sow is a female

We just got done pulling their tusks and castrating the males which incidentally are called Barrows and for the next six months or so the little kids that are in 4H will train these critters to become Prize Winners.
